1988 Cape Dory – 42 (Betty Ann)
The Cape Dory was originally built as a versatile work/lobster boat, later being developed for diving and fishing. Individually built to order using quality commercial-grade components, entirely hand-laid including a solid fiberglass hull with no coring, rugged durability and long life are the trademarks of the vessel worldwide.
Betty Ann has just finished up on her annual haul-out, the wetted surfaces were stripped, barrier coated, and anti-fouling paint applied. The cockpit area of the vessel has custom seating and dive tank storage, this seating arrangement along the centerline of the vessel is removable if required allowing access to the fuel tank. The vessel is powered by a two-cycle, turbocharged Detroit Diesel engine.
