Calypso Marine can boast that this will be the driest deep V hull you will ever ride in! Also, one of the fastest V’s of similar design. We back this claim with testimony from Capt. Jonathan Gatcliffe who has owned three of our boats for the past 10 years and operates Double Header Sportfishing, a charter fishing operation in the USVI.

The performance of the Calypso Deep V is remarkable and it is an extremely comfortable boat to own and operate. The performance of this boat is second to none. A recent trip from Trinidad to St. Lucia, which is approximately 230 miles, took 8 ½ hours non-stop, in rough to fair conditions.

We also delivered a 37 deep V equipped with a 440 h.p. diesel engine application to St. Thomas, USVI, in rough sea conditions, in a total of twenty five (25) running hours. 278 gallons of diesel was used for this 600 mile journey.

The Calypso boats are manufactured in Trinidad but grace the waters of not only Trinidad and Tobago, but Barbados, St. Lucia, Grenada, Carriacou, St. Vincent, St. Kitts, St. Thomas, St. Croix, Texas, Miami, The Florida Keys, Massachusetts and Alabama
