HISTORY OF LADY GRACE

We bought Lady Grace as an ex-demo from the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in 1998, specifically because it’s a safe boat for young children and we had two sons under the age of five at the time. With a center console, this catamaran provides a safe environment with deep hulls/high sides and a spacious deck for moving around and stable balanced cruising speeds. Lady Grace is unsinkable as the dual displacement hulls are made of foam core/fiberglass sandwich, reinforced below the waterline. Another plus, both the Bimini and T-top provide plenty of protection from the sun.

Lady Grace has served us exceptionally well for 22+ years, we have done pretty much everything in her; island hopping, snorkelling, waterskiing, spearfishing, bottom fishing and deep sea fishing,- there’s nothing wrong with Lady Grace but our boys are now mad keen fishermen and want us to get a much bigger boat specifically designed for fishing and that’s the only reason she’s for sale. For her age, Lady Grace has overall limited hours in the water as she has only been used during vacations. On average she’s in the water three times a year for a period of 3-5 weeks and when not in use is always stored out of the water in a boat shed on a trickle charge.

SERVICING HISTORY

Lady Grace has two 175 Mercury engines. Both have been serviced regularly since their purchase about 4 years ago. One engine is in perfect working order, the other has a problem with the compressor which has not been fixed as the mechanic on Chub Cay who was dealing with it, has left the island and we have not returned due to Covid19. The boat had new bilge pumps installed in June 2018 and new electrics in it.
