After a marvelous 19 year run, we've decided to part ways with our beloved Epilogue. She's a fine sailing yacht, with a distinguished pedigree, and we can no longer sail her or give her as much attention as she deserves. She was built to sail fast and far and not be tied up to the dock. Designed by David Pedrick and built in the Cheoy Lee/Golden Wave shipyard in 1986, she was to be a smaller, more comfortable version of Nirvana, his record breaking IOR Maxi design from 1982. At 24 tons, with almost half her displacement in her deep fin keel, she's a powerful force upwind and has no problem with big wind and seas at all points of sail. We acquired Epilogue (formerly Tin Tin) in 2005 after she had circumnavigated the globe for 5 years with her previous owners. Between 2005 and 2009 Epilogue was extensively refit and began life as a charter vessel in the summer of 2009 out of Seattle, the San Juan Islands, Canadian Gulf Islands, and the Sunshine Coast of BC. Built in Kolwoon, Hong Kong, she has a MARAD Exemption and a Coastwise Endorsement allowing her to operate charters for up to 12 Passengers. Extremely rare for an uninspected passenger vessel of her tonnage. Her large center and aft cockpits, and spacious accommodations below make her the perfect charter boat for 12 day passengers and up to 6 overnight passengers. She's a special yacht, and while heartbreaking to let her go, her magical story will surely continue with the next owners.
