Midland-Ross Tami-Lift Straddle Crane 37.5-75 Ton’ |1980| (Tami Lift)
Location: Soper’s Hole, British Virgin Islands View in Google Maps
Vessel Information:
1980 model TAMI-Lift straddle crane made by Midland-Ross Corporation.
19’2” inside clear width and 18’3” clearance below the crossbeam and wheel center on sides is 20’. Lifting Capacity is 75 000 Lbs or 37.5 tons.
Lifting cables are 3/4” not 1/2” and to the best of my knowledge the frame is the same as the 75 ton model, meaning it’s a very strong frame! Largest mono-hull lifted and driven with in the hoist is a Beneteau Cyclades 50. This is a large sailing charter boat.
Also 45ft sports fishers and any boats smaller of course. Was working during inspection.
Lift only included no boats or other parts.
