Vessel Information:
This is a rare opportunity to get a highly wanted ocean-going masthead ketch. This large sailboat is a comfortable liveaboard for a handy person for restoring. Coming with a custom hardtop that is barnone making this Hardin a better cockpit set up than the rest. Lots of extra parts and Solar included. Ready to live aboard and anchored in an area to stay. Owners notes:

Briefly, the boat was damaged by a hurricane in ’17. It is self insured so very little repair to damage has been done except basic things to make it seaworthy such as repairing the rudder, rigging and engine.

The rudder bottom cheek bracket was damaged. Part of one of the cheeks broke off. It was repaired by replacing through bolts and using oversized washers where the bracket were missing. Not the ultimate repair but enough to maneuver to another harbor.

The mast was broken in three pieces and can easily be spliced but the rig has been modified to a schooner by adding a gaff and modifying old sails that did not work for the vessel. That way a sail can be used for stabilizing to move to a place to restore the vessel.

Durring the storm water got into the fuel and was later sucked into the engine and the fuel injector pump when the engine was first started after the storm. The injector pump and lift pump have been replaced and the engine runs fine now.

These are some of the things that have been done in the past two years.“
